[VIDEO] Porsche 918 Spyder is testing on the Nurburgring
The brand new Porsche 918 Spyder has been recently caught on camera while it was being tested on the famous German track, the Nurburgring.
Just a few days before its public debut, scheduled for the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, on the 10th of September, the brand new Porsche 918 Spyder is being placed into the spotlights with the help of a video. The footage posted below is showing the new hybrid supercar in action on the Nurburgring, where the model was being tested, so if you want to see it being driven fast on a track, all you have to do is scroll down and click play.
The Porsche 918 Spyder will be powered by a 4.6 liter V8 engine and two electric motors, in its final production version. The internal combustion engine will produce just over 600 HP and the electric motors will generate 150 HP each. The total output will stand at 885 HP, which will help the 918 Spyder to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.8 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 210 mph. The Porsche 918 Spyder will be officially presented to the public, in a premiere, next week, in Frankfurt.
