A very minor incident involving a Porsche 918 Spyder and a 911 has been caught on camera recently and it is showing the extremely expensive hypercar slightly bumping into a 911.
In our Car Crashes section we may have gotten you used to some pretty spectacular incidents but every once in a while things aren’t as bad as they seem to be. The newest “crash” in which a hypercar has been involved has been recorded on camera and it is showing a Porsche 918 Spyder slightly bumping into a 911. The incident hasn’t marked any scars on the two rides and it seems that the driver of the hypercar was paying attention to something in the cabin and he hasn’t noticed his ride was rolling back.
Even so, this isn’t something you see every day and hopefully, with all units of the 918 Spyder being eventually delivered and their drivers thinking like they got something to prove, things won’t get uglier. The Porsche 918 Spyder has been put together in just 918 units and all of them have been sold despite the fact that its price stands at less than 1 million USD. This is the most powerful supercar Porsche has ever put together and it is making use of a 4.6 liter V8 engine and two electric motors, for a total output of 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft). It can reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 2.6s and top speed stands at 340 km/h (210 mph).
