A Porsche 918 Spyder has been recently caught on camera revealing its legendary Martini Racing livery and ending up in our news ahead of its scheduled sale in early 2014.
After being officially presented to the public in some official images, the Porsche 918 Spyder Martini Racing is being placed into the spotlights one more time, thanks to a video find which is revealing the supercar from just about every angle. The Martini Racing livery will only be applied on the outside of the Porsche 918 Spyder and the interior cabin will remain standard.
Porsche says that the Martini Racing livery is paying tribute to many of the company’s racers who have one different competitions. The final production version of the Porsche 918 Spyder will hit the assembly line in September 2013 and this will actually be the first Porsche model to be sold with the fully-licensed paintwork. The Porsche 918 Spyder will arrive at local dealerships in early 2014.
The Porsche 918 Spyder Martini Racing is coming as a two-seater with carbon fiber reinforced plastics and a hybrid powertrain with a 4.6 liter V8 mid-engine which is producing 570 HP, while the total output is 770 HP. The model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds while burning an average of 3.0 liters of fuel every 100 km.
