[VIDEO] Porsche 918 Spyder spotted at Cars & Coffee Irvine
A brand new blue-finished Porsche 918 Spyder has been recently spotted at Cars & Coffee Irvine and the German hybrid supercar has managed to attract quite a crowd.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is being placed into the spotlights once again, after it has made its public debut 6 months ago, during the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, in its final production form, this time with the hybrid supercar making an appearance at Cars & Coffee Irvine. The model in question has managed to attract quite a crowd and even more cameras than it probably did during the latest automotive event where it was present.
The brand new Porsche 918 Spyder will be produced in 918 units and offered with a mid-engine and an all-wheel drive layout. Power is being provided by a 4.6 liter V8 engine, which is rated at 708 HP (528 kW) and 528 Nm (389 lb-ft) of torque, backed up by two electric motors providing an extra 279 HP (208 kW). The total output produced stands at 887 HP (661 kW) and 1,275 Nm (940 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint made in 2.6 seconds and for a top speed of 345 km/h (214 mph).
