An interesting drag race between two totally different hypercars has taken place recently.
Did you ever wonder which would be faster in a drag race between a Porsche 918 Spyder and a Bugatti Veyron? Well, you will probably keep wondering after checking out this video too because it’s not relevant at all and the “driver factor” has a lot to do with the final result. We’re not sure if the guy holding the wheel of the Porsche started earlier than he should or if the Bugatti driver missed out on the action, so we’ll let you take a closer look at it.
We will remind you that the Bugatti Veyron has been around since 2004, when the 16.4 was introduced. This was followed by the Grand Sport and the Super Sport. The final version of the car was the Grand Sport Vitesse. All of them were using the 8.0 liter W16 quad turbocharged engine and permanent all-wheel drive, available in various outputs with at least 1,000 HP being produced. The Porsche 918 Spyder on the other hand is a hybrid hypercar with a 4.6l V8 and two electric motors, rated at 887 HP and 1,280 Nm of torque. This needs 2.5s to reach 100 km/h and it can go up to 350 km/h.
