The newest addition to the Porsche Boxster range, the Boxster Spyder, is the star of a new video which has been released by the German based automaker recently.
After being officially introduced just earlier this year and shown to the public at the 2015 New York Auto Show, the brand new Porsche Boxster Spyder is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new video. The clip posted below is the typical presentation of a sports car and happily Porsche has left aside the voice telling us how good this vehicle is, so all you have to do is plug in your headphones and click the play button.
The new Porsche Boxster Spyder is coming with high performance brakes taken from the larger 911 Carrera, with a bespoke lightweight soft top which is partially manually operated, front and rear ends sourced from the Cayman GT4 and a 20 mm lowered sports suspension system. The model has a new 360mm in diameter steering wheel and it is lacking the radio and air conditioning control units, eliminated in order to cut down on the weight. The 3.8 liter six-cylinder unit is found under its hood, rated at 375 HP (276 kW), enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h (180 mph). On its local market, the model will start from 79,945 euros, in July, and in the United States it will come from $82,100, in October.
