The recently unveiled Porsche Cayman GT4 is shining in a new video in which the company’s official, Andreas Preuninger, is talking about it.
If you happen to be a Porsche fan, than you probably know all about there is to know about the recently unveiled Cayman GT4 and you will be glad to find out that there is a new video out, released by EVO, in which the company’s man in charge of GT cars at Porsche Motorsport, Andreas Preuninger, is shown taking about the model in question.
The Porsche Cayman GT4 is considered to be, by many, a cheaper alternative to the 911 GT3, as the model in question is priced at 85,779 euros, compared to its more expensive brother which will be setting you back for 137,303 euros, VAT included. The sports car will become available for order in March, right after the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, and it has a good chance of becoming more popular than the 911.
Under its hood, the 3.8 liter six-cylinder engine is resting, which is capable of producing a total output of 385 HP (283 kW), at 7,400 rpm, and 420 Nm (310 lb-ft) of torque, available between 4,750 rpm and 6,000 rpm. The unit is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission, sending power to the rear wheels. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model needs just 4.4 seconds and top speed is expected to stand at 295 km/h (183 mph). The Cayman GT4 has lapped the Ring in 7 minutes and 40 seconds.
