Porsche has released the first commercial video with the recently unveiled Cayman GT4 which, we’ll have to admit, is pretty impressive.
After being officially shown just a day ago, the brand new Porsche Cayman GT4 is now starring in a new video, which might be more suitable for its more expensive brother, the 911. In the newest clip, the range topping version of the Cayman is making its transition from the city to the track and it’s managing to frighten bystanders, in the meantime. You can check out the clip right below, after the jump.
The Porsche Cayman GT4 has managed to lap the Nurburgring Nordschleife in just 7 minutes and 40 seconds and this can be made thanks to its 3.8 liter flat six-cylinder engine, which is capable of producing a total output of 385 HP (283 kW). Power is sent to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission which is allowing the sports car to go from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.4 seconds and to reach 295 km/h (183 mph).
Porsche has fitted the Cayman GT4, besides with the updated engine, with an aggressive body kit, made out of the mesh grille inserts, front splitter, larger rear splitter, fixed rear wing, sportier side scoops an so on. The model has also received a center mounted dual exhaust system, high performance brakes and a 30 mm reduced ride height. Prices for it, in Germany, will start from 85,779 EUR, VAT included, where the sports car is already available for order.
