A Porsche Cayman GT4 has been taken recently to the famous German track, the Nurburgring, where it managed to do a hot lap around it while being filmed in 4K resolution.
After being officially introduced at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere, the new Porsche Cayman GT4 is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new clip which is showing it in action in a POV video, around the Nurburgring. The footage can be seen in 4K and the sports car has managed to do a bridge to gantry lap in 7 minutes and 41 seconds.
The Porsche Cayman GT4 is coming with a 3.8 liter flat six-cylinder engine under its hood, which is borrowed from the 911 Carrera S. The unit is capable of producing a total output of 385 HP (283 kW) and it has a peak torque of 420 Nm (310 lb-ft), being connected to a 6-speed manual transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration takes just 4.4 seconds and top speed stands at 295 km/h (183 mph). The Cayman GT4 is considered to bury the 911 thanks to its impressive engine, to the 911 GT3 RS suspension system, the 30 mm lowered ride height, carbon fiber reinforced plastic seats, Sport Chrono Package, carbon ceramic brakes and so on. Prices for the sports car start from 85,779 EUR on its local market, Germany.
