This German machine might be considered good for depicting the auto form of the Bumblebee character from the Transformers franchise, but we’re more interested in the trickery performed by Porsche Exclusive on this particular 911 Turbo S.
Of course, there are people out there who are not content with the regular looks of their automobile – even if we’re talking about a rather exclusive 911 Turbo S. But the owners of such German rides need fret not – as Porsche Exclusive will be more than glad to make your ride even more exclusive – for the right sum, of course. This example is a pre-facelift Turbo S wearing a dual-tone yellow and black paint, and has been affectionately nicknamed “Bumblebee” due to its finish being very close to the Chevrolet Camaro featured in the latest installment of Transformers. The wheels also adopt a high-gloss black finish matching the hood, and the aerodynamic kit. The black theme continues with the Porsche decal on the sides and the glossy black mirror caps matching the roof. The air intakes have also been blacked out and the LED headlights with a black finish also complete the theme.
Porsche Exclusive’s treatment of the cockpit starts from the side sills, which have been engraved with “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.” There’s also an embossed “Porsche” on the central armrest and leather wraps everything inside – dashboard, steering column, and even the vent surrounds. The leather & Alcantara upholstery is also completed with yellow contrast stitiching. This footage has been captured at Porsche Cars North America’s (PCNA) West Coast training unit where Porsche Club of America (PCA) had its annual Tech Tactics West event.
