Fans of the brand have reasons to rejoice – they need to buy the new Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series and hold on to it about 30 years to turn it into a pile of money.
The Stuttgart have put fire on the collector’s market with their vintage 911 models because of the constant love of special edition models that turn into valuable assets over time. Now the savvy investors have another special issue from Stuttgart – the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series, the most powerful 911 Turbo S ever, with manufacturing limited to 500 examples. Worldwide distribution is involved, and this is not just a yellow appearance package. That’s mostly because the 3.8-liter biturbo six has been massaged for 607 horsepower – 27 ponies in excess of the standard Turbo S – so the 60 miles per hour time now comes under three seconds.
The 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series can easily be noticed due to the Golden Yellow Metallic paint, exclusive to the Exclusive Series. There’s additional attention-getting touches – carbon-weave stripes, the roof, side skirts and hood also made of the lightweight material, and the 911 also gets a new rear apron. If you want to be inconspicuous in the Exclusive, there are also other colors to choose from. The cabin boasts 18-way sport seats with two layers of perforated leather with golden stripes on the innermost layer, yellow stitching, and yellow stripes on the Alcantara headliner. Also part of the pack are carbon sill plates with Exclusive branding, yellow embroidered Turbo S lettering on the headrests – and this bling can’t be changed this time around. The exterior also gets black brake calipers for the PCCB ceramic braking system, complete with gold Porsche logo, black 20-inch alloys and standard Porsche Active Suspension Management, rear-axle steering as well as Porsche’s Dynamic Chassis Control.
There are also Exclusive accessories – a limited-production matching series of 500 chronographs with inspired design, a set of leather luggage specifically tailored to the confines of the 911 and of course you’ll also get the perk of paying loads of cash. The 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series kicks off at €259,992 at home in Germany, the watch is about $11,000 and the luggage set another $6,200.
