A prototype what seems to be the new Porsche Macan GTS has been recently spotted while being driven fast around the Nurburgring.
Earlier this year, Porsche has added the GTS badge to the Boxster and to the Cayman and it will do the same to the 911. The newest model to get the moniker will be the Macan, which has been recently caught on camera in action on the Ring. The model in question will be coming with larger front air intakes, a sportier steering wheel, Alcantara, bucket seats, larger alloy wheels, a firmer suspension and several other tweaks.
The new Porsche Macan GTS will be coming with approximately 360 HP – 370 HP, which means more than the current Macan S, currently packing 340 HP, and less than the Macan Turbo, with its 400 HP. This basically means that the Macan GTS will slide between the S and the Turbo. The crossover is believed to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in approximately 4 seconds. The vehicle should be officially unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this October. More details on it are limited for the moment and will probably be announced during the French automotive event.
