[VIDEO] Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept production version gets detailed
Porsche has released a new video where the production version of the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept is being highlighted.
After it was officially presented to the pubic a few months ago during the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September, the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of the carmaker. The model in question will be mass-produced and the footage posted below is highlighting just this.
“The Panamera has one body style today, the body style of a four-door coupe. We were intrigued by the idea of developing another version for Porsche – in other words to design a version of a sporty Panamera, a sports station wagon”, said the Porsche Advanced Design general manager, Mitja Borkert.
As a quick reminder, the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept is coming as a plug-in hybrid, with a 9.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, an electric motor generating 95 HP and a supercharged 3.0 liter V6 engine developing 333 HP (245 kW). The total output produced stands at 416 HP (306 kW), which is allowing the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in less than six seconds. The fuel consumption stands at 3.5 liters / 100 km and the CO2 emissions stop at 82 g/km.
The BMW X1 has been in production since 2009, offered as a 2010 model year, but the crossover has “suffered” a facelift last year. In order to find out what the “new” X1 has to offer, we have recently went for a spin in an xDrive18d Sport Line.
