Porsche has released a new video with the upcoming 2014 Macan, in which the new SUV is showed while tackling the sand dunes of Dubai.
The German based automaker Porsche is currently testing the brand new Macan in Dubai, where the model has been seen tackling the sand dunes. The Porsche Macan will be way more than just a simple midsize luxury SUV because in its attempt to steal some customers from the popular Range Rover Evoque, the model will actually be made useful on the off-road. Rumors are saying that the Porsche Macan will get an engine lineup made out of several 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 units, along with a 3.6 liter twin turbo V6 producing 395 HP (294 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. The cheapest version of the Porsche Macan will get a 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine under its hood, producing a total output of 254 HP (189 kW). The Macan Turbo and Turbo S are expected to get approximately 500 HP from their units. Additional details on the Macan are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, where the model will make its public debut.
