The exhaust note of the brand new Porsche Macan has been recently teased in a new video released by the German based automaker.
The newest Porsche model, the Macan, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new video, which was released by the company. The footage posted below is teasing the exhaust note of the company’s midsize SUV and we must admit that it sounds quite good. The carmaker has actually declined to say which engine is providing the noise but our guess is that it’s probably the one which will power the Macan Turbo.
As far as the engine lineup goes, the new Porsche Macan is said to get a 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 unit under its hood, with 340 HP (250 kW) and a twin turbo 3.6 liter V6, generating 400 HP (294 kW). The Macan Turbo is said to get approximately 500 HP from its unit. All engines mentioned above will be mated to a 7-speed PDK transmission once they will go on sale. Additional details on the brand new Porsche Macan are limited for the moment and will be announced during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, once the model will be officially unveiled.
