A more powerful version of the new sports car produced by Mercedes, the AMG GT, has been caught on camera recently while tackling the famous Nurburgring track.
Ever since the German based automaker has introduced the new AMG GT, most of the questions were surrounding an even more powerful version, the Black Series, and now it seems that the car manufacturer will be answering those questions with a more powerful version of the vehicle. The guys from WCF are stating that this might be the road-going version of the recently unveiled AMG GT3, but chances are we might be looking towards the new range-topping AMG GT Black Series.
The vehicle is coming with an aerodynamic body kit which includes the prominent rear wing, the front splitter, canards and several other goodies. The current variant of the Mercedes AMG GT is being offered in two versions, both of them taking their power from the 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, the same one used on the new C63 AMG too. The AMG GT is coming with a total output of 460 HP (340 kW) and 600 Nm (440 lb-ft) of torque, coming with a 0 – 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 4.0s and a top speed of 304 km/h (189 mph), along with a more expensive AMG GT S, which is getting 503 HP (375 kW) and 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque. This needs 3.8s to go up to 100 km/h (62 mph) and it has a top speed of 310 km/h (190 mph).
