The final production version of the BMW i3 has just received its first ever promotional video, ahead of its unveil set for later on today, July 29, 2013, at 13:15 GMT.
The German based automaker BMW has managed to place the final production version of the i3 into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a new promotional video, which is showing the model in action, on the road. The new BMW i3 will be unveiled later on today, the 29th of July, at 13:15 GMT, at an event held simultaneous in London, New York and Beijing. The LIVE Feed of the event can be seen here.
As a quick reminder, the final production version of the i3 will get an internal combustion engine under its hood, which is producing 170 HP and 184 lb-ft of torque. This will be backed up by a synchronous electric motor, developed and produced by the carmaker. The model is also getting a 22 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is offering a range of 8 miles. Prices of the BMW i3 will start at 41,350 USD in the United States, while in its homeland, Germany, the hybrid vehicle will set you back for at least 34,950 euros.
