A yellow example of the McLaren P1, with Qatari license plates, has been recently spotted out in France’s capital, Paris.
There are only a few “things” better on this Earth than a McLaren P1 cruising around Paris and when thinking of it, I can’t really name more than 3. The impressive hybrid supercar has been recently spotted out in France’s capital, with its Qatari license plates and its yellow finish. The vehicle is actually owned by the son of this hotel owner. The P1 has managed to attract quite a lot of curious eyes and the rich owner was glad to open it and even to lightly rev the engine.
The McLaren P1 is the company’s first hybrid supercar and also its fastest production model up to date. It has been officially unveiled during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and it’s coming with a two-door coupe body style and a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout. The P1 is rivaling the Porsche 918 Spyder and the Ferrari LaFerrari and it has a 3.8L twin turbo V8 engine under its hood. This, backed up by an electric motor, is good for a total of 903 HP and 978 Nm of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in 2.8s and top speed is electronically limited to 350 km/h (217 mph).
