[VIDEO] Range Rover Sport RS and Evoque RS spied on the Nurburgring
The upcoming Range Rover Sport RS and the Range Rover Evoque RS have been recently spied on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, where they were being tested.
Land Rover is known to have started developing two hot versions of the brand new Range Rover Sport generation and also to the popular Evoque and it seems that these variants are closer to their future customers than anyone outside the company thought, especially after this brand new video is showing the two of them while they are being tested on the Nurburgring.
The Range Rover Sport in question is believed to be known as the RS, a moniker which will also make its way to the smaller Evoque. Rumors are saying that the Evoque RS will be the first one to hit showrooms and it’s believed that its 2.0 liter turbocharged gasoline unit will provide approximately 300 HP (224 kW). Its larger brother, the Range Rover Sport RS, is said to get a 5.0 liter V8 engine under its hood, which should be good for 543 HP (405 kW), enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in less than 5 seconds.
