Aston Martin has released a new promotional video with the recently unveiled GT12, which used to be known as the GT3.
After losing its GT3 name to Porsche just a few weeks back, the brand new Aston Martin Vantage GT12 is now coming back into our attention with a brand new video, which is highlighting some of its features. The clip is also containing some interesting driving footage which is not enough, to be honest, but it is still all it needs in order to make you want one. The Aston Martin Vantage GT12 has been unveiled a more than a month ago, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, and it is bringing features such as the limited slip differential, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes and more.
The sports car is also getting the updated dampers and springs for the track tuned suspension system, magnesium inlet manifolds, carbon fiber propeller shaft, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, 19-inch forged alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, carbon fiber hood, door casings, roof, polycarbonate rear window, touch sensitive controls in the cabin, Alcantara on the steering wheel, carbon fiber sport seats, an infotainment system and so on. Under its hood, the 6.0 liter V12 engine is resting, which is good for 600 HP (441 kW) and 625 Nm (460 lb-ft) of torque, connected to the 7-speed automated manual transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model needs just 3.7 seconds and top speed stands at 297 km/h (185 mph).
