The French based automaker Renault has recently released the first official video with the Alpine A110-50 concept car, ahead of its official debut at the Monaco Grand Prix, this weekend.
Renault and Yahoo have teamed up in order for this Alpine A110-50 concept car to be teased and, as you can see from the video posted below this article, the teaser looks pretty much identical to the leaked image of the same vehicle. Rumors are saying that the Renault Alpine A110-50 concept car is based on the Renault Megane Trophy and it comes with a tube chassis and a rear mounted engine, which might be a 3.5 liter V6, developing a total output of almost 400 HP.
The Renault Alpine A110-50 concept has been built in order to celebrate the A100’s 50th anniversary and, if the model will hit the production line, Renaultsport will lead the development. The Renault Alpine A110-50 concept car might be the company’s first step into reviving the Alpine brand, which was announced back in 2011 by Carlos Tavares, the second man in hierarchy. The first production version of the Alpine brand, which might be the A110-50, is expected to hit the market in 2013, but Renault might actually speed up the process.
