The new generation of the Renault Clio RS has been recently caught testing on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, where it’s probably getting the latest tweaks before it will hit the dealerships.
The standard version of the 2013 Renault Clio has been officially presented to the public not too long ago and right after that everyone kept asking what the new generation of the Clio RS hot hatch will look like, sound like and drive like. We don’t have the answer to the first one but from the video posted below, the other two can be seen and analyzed, until the final production version of the model will hit the market.
The Renault Clio IV RS will get a five-door body style and a front grille inspired by the DeZir concept, along with daytime running lights and some other modifications on its body. The new Clio RS will only be available as a five-door and the three-door will be sacked by the French based automaker. Rumors are saying that under the hood of the new Clio RS, a 1.6 liter turbocharged engine, which will offer at least 200 HP, will replace the naturally aspirated 2.0 liter unit. More details on the future generation of the Renault Clio IV RS will be announced in 2013.
