[VIDEO] Renault Megane GT flexing its muscles on the track image

The first promotional video with the brand new Renault Megane GT is finally here as the carmaker has brought it to the Le Mans circuit.

When we get to see promos of new vehicles we are used to finding a model in the driver’s seat who is pressing several buttons. Then drones are filming it from above on a deserted road and the carmaker’s slogan is being displayed. However, Renault has stepped out of the box with the first ever promotional video of the brand new Megane GT.

The model in question is being shown on the Le Mans track with former rally driver Jean Ragnotti and Renaultsport test driver Laurent Hurgon inside it and it is kind of dramatic. The clip is concentrating on making a theatrical impression and the driving action is left on a secondary state. This has been shot on the Le Mans circuit and it is definitely worth taking a look at.

The Renault Megane GT is the current range-topping model of the new generation of the compact car. This has debuted at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and it will remain the top of the line until the real RS will be introduced, probably in a few years. The hot hatch has the tough job of taking on models such as the Volkswagen Golf GTI or the Ford Focus ST and it has an appealing exterior design and a completely changed cabin. Under its hood it is making use of the TCe petrol burner with its 205 HP, connected to the 7-speed EDC dual-clutch transmission. The 4Control four-wheel steering can also be found on the car.
