The Nurburgring king for front-wheel drive production vehicles, the Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy, has been recently tested out by the guys from XCAR.
Hot hatch fans, gather around, grab a chair, open a bag of chips and plug in your headphones before checking out the video posted below because one of the most awaited vehicles in the segment, the Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy, is being tested out by the guys from XCAR, who are trying to find out if this is really as good as the carmaker is saying.
The vehicle in question is getting the Cup chassis, Ohlins Road and Track dampers with steel springs, a limited slip differential, 19-inch Speedline Turini wheels, with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, made by Michelin and Renaultsport, along with the Akrapovic exhaust system. The most important part of the model is found under its hood, where the 2.0 liter engine is resting. This is producing a total output of 275 HP, at 5,500 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 360 Nm, available between 3,000 and 5,000 rpm. Prices for the Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy have been set at 38,000 euros, in France, and only 250 units will be put together.
