A new teaser video with the upcoming Renault Sandero RS has been released recently by the French based automaker.
The Brazilian automotive market will be the first one to receive the new Renault Sandero RS, but until that will happen, the car manufacturer is currently making the last tweaks of the vehicle. But despite this, Renault isn’t letting you or us forget about the Sandero RS until it will be introduced so a new video has been put together. The clip is showing a camouflaged version of the model, with a stripped out interior, going fast around a track.
The vehicle in question is nothing more than a simple prototype at this time but it does seem to have some updated brakes as it can grip just well. The brakes are also praised in the video but don’t expect a lot of power coming from under its hood because this won’t happen as it will cannibalize the Clio RS if so. In fact, Renault will be using the same 2.0 liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine as the one found on the BR-spec of the Duster on the Sandero RS and this will be producing approximately 143 HP (107 kW). Besides the more powerful engine, the model will also get a more aggressive body kit, which will slightly help its aerodynamics and it will also make it instantly recognizable. At this moment, Dacia doesn’t have any plans of offering the Sandero RS on the Old Continent.
