Renault has released yet another teaser video with the upcoming Sandero RS which is showing the car from the same perspective.
In case you have been wondering what is going on these days with the new Renault Sandero RS, the answer would be “not much”, because the upcoming budget hot hatch is still being kept into the shadows. However, Renault of Brazil did release yet another teaser video with the new model which is showing it in action on the track, alongside its more impressive Renaultsport brother and, for the first time ever, you can also hear its engine, so make sure you plug in your headphones before trying to figure it out if it sounds like the one used on the 2.0 Duster.
The new Renault Sandero RS will be coming with a more aggressive body kit which will make the car instantly recognizable. The model in question will not be offered with the Dacia badges all over its body on the Old Continent or in other markets and it will be aimed towards the South American market, with countries like Brazil in mind. Rumor has it that the budget hot hatch will be coming with a 2.0 liter naturally aspirated engine under its hood, the same one used on the BR-spec of the Duster. The unit will be producing around 143 HP (107 kW) as Renault is playing safe in this chapter. Additional details on the Sandero RS are limited for the moment.
