Renault has released a new teaser video with the upcoming Sandero RS as the model in question is getting ready to be officially unveiled this year.
The Renault Sandero RS is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a video which is showing it in action, on the track. The model in question is probably a prototype and it is wearing camouflage on its body so if you were waiting for a full reveal, you will be in for a big surprise. The clip is highlighting the performance of the future hot hatch as this has been taken to the track recently in order to prove that it has what it needs in order to become a best seller.
The French based automaker has no plans at this time of offering the Sandero RS on the Old Continent with Dacia badges on its body as the model in question is aimed towards the South American market, with countries like Brazil in mind. The vehicle is said to get the 2.0 liter naturally aspirated engine under its hood, which is currently used on the BR-spec Duster. The total output of the car will be around 143 HP (107 kW) and this is enough for the model as Renault has no plans of killing the Clio RS. More details on the model in question are limited for the moment and will probably be announced over the next few weeks, when it is expected to be unveiled.
