The Renault Twizy is once again being promoted, this time with the “help” of David Guetta and one more commercial video.
The all-new Renault Twizy electric vehicle has just started a marketing campaign and the car manufacturer is promoting it in a unique way, “using” the famous French DJ, David Guetta and his latest song, “The Alphabeat”. As a small reminder, the Renault Twizy is available in two versions, the Twizy 45, which is coming with 5 horsepower and 33 Nm of torque, taking its name from the 45 km/h top speed and being available for 16-year olds to drive but only if they get their road safety certification first, and the Twizy 80.
Renault says that the Twizy 80 can accelerate up to 80 km/h and for this version its future customers will need an A or B driver’s license. The Renault Twizy has a 7 kW lithium-ion battery and a single gear transmission. The small model is 2.32 meters long, 1.19 meters wide and 1.46 meters tall, with a curb weight of 450 kg. The Renault Twizy is already available in markets like France and the Netherlands, where it can be bought for just under 7,000 euros. The Twizy is being assembled in Valladolid, Spain.
