The brand new Renault Twizy F1 Concept has managed to beat two Megane RS hot hatches in a quarter mile drag race.
The French based automaker Renault has recently released two new videos with its latest creation, the Twizy F1 Concept, in which the small model is shown during a drag race with two Megane RS hot hatches. The obvious result would be the Megane RS smoking it but things don’t always go as planned and the small vehicle is turning out to be way faster than the French hot hatch.
As a quick reminder, the Renault Twizy F1 Concept has been originally introduced a few weeks ago and just earlier this week, the model has made its public debut. The F1 Twizy Concept has been turned into a monster by the Renaultsport and Renaultsport F1 engineers, who have teamed up in order to implement some F1 technologies on the road car. The model is a single-seater with a KERS system and an extra 79 HP (59 kW). The F1 Twizy Concept has a steering wheel inspired from Formula Renault, a boost button and a 1 HP / 5.8 kg power-to-weight ratio. You can check out the model in action in the two videos posted below.
