The French based automaker Renault has recently released a promotional video with the Zoe electric hatchback, which will be priced at 15,000 euros when it will be launched.
After the Renault Zoe electric vehicle was officially presented to the public at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, in its final production version, along with the Twizy, Megane RS or the facelifted Scenic, the zero-emission vehicle is once again placed into the spotlights, with the car manufacturer releasing its first promotional video. The entry-level version of the Renault Zoe will have a starting price of 15,700 euros and the model will be fitted with the Renault R-Link multimedia tablet, automatic climate control and Chameleon battery, as standard equipment.
Renault says that besides the Life, which is the entry-level version, the Zoe will also get two more variants, the Zoe Zen and the Zoe Intens, with the latter being priced at 17,500 euros. The Renault Zoe has a driving range of 210 km according to the NEDC cycle, but the French based car manufacturer says that the real world range is just 100 km in cold conditions and 150 km in mild weather. The Renault Zoe is the first EV which can be charged at any power level up to 43kW in between 30 minutes and 9 hours with the Chameleon charger, but with the fast-charge stations, the model can be charged in approximately one hour at 22kW. The Renault Zoe is expected to go in sale in Europe this autumn.
