The Renovo Coupe has received a new video in which the model in question is being detailed.
The 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has seen, besides some premieres, the debut of the Renovo Coupe. The model in question has an appealing look of the Shelby Daytona from the 1960s but despite that, it is riding on a modern chassis (Shelby American) and the bodywork is basically brand new, being design by Peter Brock, who is the man who sketched down the original too. The Renovo Coupe can definitely compete with the Tesla Model S in terms of looks and not only, so this is a good choice for tree huggers out there.
Renovo Motors says that the Coupe has twin sequential axial flux motors and a 740 volt lithium ion battery pack. Power is being sent to the wheels through a single gear transmission and speaking of power, we have to mention its output which stands at more than 500 HP and 1,000 lb-ft of torque. This is enough for a 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint made in just 3.4 seconds and a top speed of more than 120 mph (200 km/h).
