It may be a compact MPV but this has what it needs in order to accommodate large families.
We are talking about the brand new Volkswagen Touran. The model has been unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in a premiere, earlier this year, and it is now being highlighted once again, this time with the help of a new clip. The video posted below is a review signed by Auto Express and we will only tell you that the MPV seems to be better than ever in its updated version. Take a closer look at the compact vehicle below.
The 2016 Volkswagen Touran is coming with plenty of stowage spaces in the cabin and all versions of the model get the new fold-flat seat system for increased practicality and functionality. This includes the second row of seats too, which can be folded down. The new Volkswagen Touran is riding on the MQB platform, used on various vehicles signed by the Volkswagen Group, and it is now 62 kg lighter than its predecessor, offering up to 19 percent increased fuel economy. The aerodynamics of the car have been improved along with the engine lineup, which now includes the two turbocharged TSI petrol burners, with 108 HP and 148 HP, along with the TDI diesels, rated at 108 HP and 148 HP. The 178 TSI and the 187 TDI will be introduced later on. The model is currently available for order in Germany where it costs 23,350 euros.
