Rimac Automibili has recently released a new video with the Concept One drifting on a closed track.
After being officially presented to the public at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Rimac Concept One is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the “help” of a “teaser” video which is showing the supercar drifting. The Croatian based automaker Rimac Automobili has also announced the official starting price of the model, which has been set at 980,000 USD (740,000 euros), and 88 units of the supercar will be manufactured.
The Rimac Concept One is being powered by four electric motors, one for each wheel, which are generating a total output of 1,088 horsepower and an even more impressive amount of torque: 3,800 Nm (3,802 lb-ft), allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, before reaching an electronically limited top speed of 305 km/h (195 mph). Rimac says that the Concept One has a range of 600 km on a single charge (373 miles) and the total weight of the supercar is 1,650 kg.
