A rare and expensive example of the Rimac Concept One has been crashed recently while racing a Ferrari LaFerrari.
Developing a brand new supercar which can go up against some large names in the industry is not easy at all but even so, Rimac Automobili has managed to make a name for itself in these two years since the Concept One has been introduced. Sadly, this story isn’t about production or performance and it is actually bringing to our attention a crashed example of the expensive ride. According to the media, the model in question has been crashed a couple of weeks ago, after the Long Beach round of Formula E Championship in the United States.
The vehicle has been damaged after racing a Ferrari LaFerrari and it is believed that this particular example is the same one used by the race director in the FIA Formula E Championship. Details on how the crash occurred remain unknown but the clip posted below is showing us one of those races. The supercar has sustained substantial damage, as it can be seen from the images. The Rimac Concept One is a two-seat high-performance electric vehicle with a total output of 1,088 HP. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), it needs just 2.8 seconds. It stands at 4,548 mm in length, 1,997 mm in width and 1,198 mm in height, with a curb weight of 1,950 kg. Prices start from just below the 1m USD mark.
