[VIDEO] Rolls-Royce Ghost Coupe spied on the Nurburgring

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Coupe has been recently caught on camera while being tested on the famous German track, the Nurburgring.

After a rumor appeared a few months ago which was saying that the British based luxury automaker is planning to develop a Coupe version of the Ghost, the model is being confirmed these days by the video posted below, which is revealing the vehicle while being tested on the Nurburgring. The Rolls-Royce Ghost Coupe has been heavily camouflaged, but underneath all that camouflage, we will probably see the familiar styling and lines borrowed from the sedan.

Power for the Rolls-Royce Ghost Coupe is expected to be provided by a 6.6 liter V12 engine, which will produce a total output of 600 HP, thanks to some tweaks. The torque figure will also increase and power will be sent to the rear-wheel drive, through an eight-speed automatic transmission signed by ZF. The layout will be similar to the Bentley Continental GT. The Rolls-Royce Ghost Coupe will weigh around 2,300 kg, which is actually a lot for a sportier model, but, then again, the Bentley Continental GT isn’t light either. The model is expected to be unveiled in 2013, at the Geneva Motor Show, and enter production the same year.
