Scion has recently released a commercial video with the new FR-S sports car in the United States.
After announcing not too long ago that the all-new Scion FR-S has just arrived in dealerships across the United States, the Japanese sports car is once again being placed into the spotlights, this time with the car manufacturer releasing a new commercial video with the model. The Scion FR-S is a great alternative for those who want a muscle car like the Camaro or Mustang but can’t afford it, and still want to own a sports car with rear-wheel drive for almost half the money. The Scion FR-S has a starting price of 24,200 USD in the United States and the model is already available for its future customers.
As a quick reminder, the Scion FR-S is strongly “related” to the Toyota GT 86 and the Subaru BRZ and the model is equipped with the 2.0 liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated Boxer engine borrowed from Subaru and fitted with the D-4S direct injection system developed by Toyota. The sports car’s engine is developing a total output of 200 horsepower at 7,000 rpm, with a peak torque of 151 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm. The unit can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission in standard or a six-speed automatic available as an option.
