Scion has recently announced the official price list for the 2013 tC Release Series 8.0, which starts at $22,545 in the United States.
With all the attention going towards the FR-S sports car, Scion is trying these days to attract even more customers into the brand by announcing the official starting price for the 2013 tC Release Series 8.0. According to the car manufacturer, the model is 3,090 USD more expensive compared to the base 2013 Scion tC, but the 2013 tC Release Series 8.0 is adding a lot of extra features for the money.
“Scion announced pricing today for its 2013 tC Release Series 8.0 (tC RS 8.0). Only 2,000 of the specially equipped sports coupes will be made and they will be available at dealer showrooms later this month. The tC RS 8.0 will be on display in the Scion pit area at the next round of Formula DRIFT in Monroe, Washington on July 22-23”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
The latest model in a long line of special editions, the RS 8.0 will be available in Absolutely Red exterior color and it will get a new body kit with redesigned front and rear bumpers, new side skirts and a trunk mounted spoiler, along with black 18-inch alloy wheels, a lowering spring and a center mounted exhaust system. Interior changes include the sport seats, the individually numbered badge and the red contrast stitching. Only 2000 units of the Scion tC RS 8.0 will be made and all of them will get the six-speed automatic transmission for $23,595. The model will go on sale in late July.
