The French based automaker Peugeot has recently released a new video with the 208 T16 Pikes Peak, where the racer is being driven by Sebastien Loeb.
After it was officially unveiled just a few weeks ago, the brand new Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak race car is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the carmaker releasing a new official video with the model. The footage posted below is showing Sebastien Loeb, the famous WRC nine-time consecutive world champion, taking it for a spin. The 208 T16 Pikes Peak weighs just 875 kg and it’s 4,500 mm long, 2,000 mm wide and 1,300 mm tall, with a 2,695 mm wheelbase.
Power to the model is being provided by a 3.2 liter twin-turbo V6 engine, which is good for 875 HP (652 kW), mated to a six-speed sequential transmission with steering wheel paddle shifters. The Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in an impressive 1.8 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 4.8 seconds and from 0 to 240 km/h (149 mph) in just 7 seconds. The model has large magnesium alloy wheels, a double wishbone suspension, hydraulic double circuit brakes, a tubular steel frame and a 40-liter fuel tank capacity, amongst others.
