A couple of videos uploaded onto the web are showing a heavily tuned Lamborghini Gallardo crashing into a lake.
Owning a supercar can turn out to be harder than it seems, especially if you lack on your driving skills, but owning one which is four times as powerful as when it came out of the factory can prove to be even trickier. The two videos posted below are revealing the moment of the crash of the heavily modified Italian supercar, during an attempt to run a ½ mile in Florida, at the WannaGOFAST event, but it seems that the extra oomph was just too much for the driver who eventually lost control of the wheel.
The Lamborghini Gallardo in question has been tuned by Heffner Performance and it seems that it has received a twin turbo conversion, along with just about everything else and the result is simply staggering as the total output produced by the unit now stands at more than 2,000 HP, which is the equivalent of 1,491 kW. The driver of the tuned Italian supercar couldn’t handle all of this power and he ended up crashing the impressive ride into a lake when he was close to hitting the 200 mph (322 km/h) mark. The good news is that he managed to escape safely from the cockpit of the Italian supercar but the bad part is that this will be needing some repairs in order to return to its former glory. Check out the moment of impact in the clips posted below.
