Despite being officially unveiled a few months back and even replaced by the 488 Spider, the range-topping version of the 458 Spider, the 458 Speciale Aperta, is continuing to fascinate us and when you are adding an aftermarket Capristo exhaust system to it, you’ve definitely got a recipe for success. The video posted below is showing such a model being driven around the streets of Monaco, attracting a lot of curious eyes and producing a great sound. You can check it out in the video posted below.
Ferrari has introduced the 458 Speciale Aperta almost a year ago, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. This is the roadster version of the 458 Speciale and it has been based on the 458 Italia. The model is weighing 1,340 kg and it has a hard top which can be opened or closed in 14 seconds. The supercar is also bringing some carbon fiber on the dashboard and door panels, along with a central stripe and forged 5-spoke wheel design. Under its hood, the same 4.5 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, used on the rest of the 458 lineup, is found. This has been upgraded and it is now capable of putting down 597 HP (445 kW) and 540 (398 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the model needs just 3 seconds. Only 499 examples will be produced.
