A Ferrari 458 Spider supercar has been recently taken to the famous Spa Francorchamps track where its driver has unleashed the “animals” found under its hood.
The Ferrari 458 Spider is probably one of the greatest rear mid-engined convertible supercars ever produced, but this isn’t always true, depending on whom you’re talking to, because Lamborghini has something to say in this chapter, with its Aventador Roadster, and so does McLaren, with the 12C Spider. But if you’re a Ferrari fan, you have come to the right place because you can see the supercar in action on Spa Francorchamps in the video posted below.
As a quick reminder, the Ferrari 458 Spider is the drop-top version of the regular 458 Italia. The model is a rear-mid engine supercar, which is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 unit, producing a total output of 570 HP, at 9,000 rpm, and 398 lb-ft of torque, available at 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a seven-sped dual-clutch F1 transmission, which is allowing the model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The Ferrari 458 Spider has been officially presented to the public during the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
