A Ferrari California has been recently crashed during an Italian test drive after its driver has lost control of the wheel and slammed it into a fence.
Even if it has been recently replaced with the California T, the Ferrari California is still one of the best Grand Tourers out there and, in the wrong hands, it can produce a lot of damage. This lesson was found out the hard way by this young driver, who has taken it for a test drive, with his friends in it and with a camera fixed to its trunk. Scroll down and click the play button in order to see it meet a hard fence up close and personal.
The Ferrari California has been in production since 2008 and just like all of the company’s models, it has been assembled in Maranello. It has a two-door body style and a front mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout, being powered by a 4.3 liter V8 engine. The unit is connected to a 7-speed dual clutch automated manual transmission which is allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds and to reach a top speed of 310 km/h (193 mph).
