A weird incident involving a Lamborghini Aventador is coming from the United Kingdom where the supercar has been revving its engine and this led to a small fire.
Tough luck for the owner of this Lamborghini Aventador who wanted to show off by standing still and revving the engine of his precious ride because flames coming out of the exhaust have ignited the rear bumper. The video posted below has captured the whole incident on camera and you can notice the reaction of the driver when he finds out that his “baby” is on fire.
The man has stepped out of the cabin and tried to put the fire out with his jacket but at no result. He then quickly left the scene behind the wheel, with flames eating the rear bumper. He was probably heading towards a carwash and not the fire department. We are not sure how this incident ended, but chances are the Italian supercar needed a small makeover before returning to its former glory.
As you probably already know, the Lamborghini Aventador is the flagship model coming from Sant’Agata Bolognese. The supercar is offered in two body styles, coupe and roadster, with a mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout. The successor of the Murcielago has a 6.5 liter V12 naturally aspirated engine under its hood, with 690 HP (510 kW) and 690 Nm (510 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h, it needs just 3 seconds and top speed stands at 350 km/h (217 mph).
