A recent video uploaded onto the web is showing a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster being completely destroyed by flames.
Dubai Marina has witnesses a spectacular fire which has ended up ruining a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. The supercar in question, which is offered in an extremely limited number, has been completely destroyed. The fire has started in the engine bay end has made its way to the rest of the car. The local authorities are saying that the flames have started because of a fault with the manufacturing of the vehicle. Lamborghini has made no public statements on the topic and it probably never will.
The Lamborghini Aventador has been in production since 2011, when it was unveiled during the Geneva Motor Show. The flagship model put together in Sant’Agata Bolognese is being offered with a longitudinal mid-engine and all-wheel drive in two body styles, two-door coupe and two-door roadster. Under its hood we can find the 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, which is capable of putting down a total of 690 HP (510 kW) and 689 Nm (508 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in the supercar takes just a little over 3 seconds and top speed stands at 350 km/h (217 mph). The Aventador LP700-4 Roadster has the same performance figures as its solid roof brother and the removable roof consists of two carbon fiber panels, each weighing 6 kg, which can be stored in the front luggage compartment.
