The video posted below is showing the German hot hatch, from the previous generation, matching the acceleration of the new Italian supercar. Keep in mind that the Golf R has been heavily modified.
The Ferrari 458 Speciale is a hot version of the 458 Italia and the spiritual successor of the 360 Challenge and the F430 Scuderia. The model in question has been unveiled back in 2013 and it has an increased engine power of 597 HP (445 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, available at 6,000 rpm. The 1,290 kg weighing supercar can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in less than 3 seconds and from 0 to 125 mph (200 km/h) in just 9.1 seconds.
