A Qatari McLaren P1 has been recently spotted in Paris while revving its impressive engine and, of course, attracting a lot of curious eyes.
Even if it has been more than a year since McLaren has pulled the wraps off the production version of the P1, the hybrid supercar continues to fascinate us and its almost every appearance is being documented. The newest clip is starring a McLaren P1 which came all the way from Qatar to Paris, where it has been recently spotted, with its impressive yellow finish, contrasting black wheels and carbon fiber parts.
The McLaren P1 is the company’s first every hybrid supercar and this is a rival for the Ferrari LaFerrari and the Porsche 918 Spyder. The supercar is powered by a 3.8 liter twin turbo engine, which is also used on the MP4-12C, on the 12C Spider or on the 650S, but under a different form. The unit is backed up by an electric motor which is helping the total output go up to 890 HP and 978 Nm of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h acceleration is made in just 2.8 seconds in the McLaren P1 and top speed is electronically limited to 349 km/h (217 mph).
