A Tesla Model S has been recently taken on to the famous racing track out there, the Nurburgring, where it was driven fast by a professional racing driver.

The clip posted below is showing the popular electric vehicle with Robb Holland, a professional racing driver behind the wheel, being tested out on the Ring. The vehicle can complete a lap in less than 9 minutes, according to the racing driver, so you should definitely scroll down and click the play button.

As you probably already know by now, the Tesla Model S is a full-sized luxury liftback which has been in production ever since 2012. The vehicle in question is one of the most appreciated “green” cars out there, and it is currently assembled in the United States, in Fremont, California, and also in Europe, in the Netherlands, at the Tilburg facility. The electric motor found under its hood is rated at 416 HP (310 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. Depending on the version chosen, the Tesla Model S can have a total range of up to 500 km (310 miles).
