If you are a McLaren fan constantly looking for a new footage with the recently unveiled 650S than you have come to the right place because such a supercar, in its convertible body style, is the subject to this new video. The clip posted below is showing the McLaren 650S Spider in action, on the Assen circuit in the Netherlands, and we have to admit that it looks and sounds pretty good.
The McLaren 650S has replaced the MP4-12C and the 650S Spider is coming as a successor of the 12C Spider. It has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere, and it is powered by a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, the same one used on its predecessor and also the same one found on the P1 hybrid supercar. The unit is rated, in this case, at 651 HP (478 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 3.0 seconds and top speed stands at 328 km/h (204 mph).
