[VIDEO] See David Coulthard tackle Goodwood in an SLS AMG Black Series
David Coulthard is the star of a new video in which he is tackling Goodwood in an impressive Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series.
Despite the fact that the Mercedes-Benz SLS has recently left the production line, in order to make room for its “successor”, the AMG GT, which will be smaller, cheaper and less powerful, the model in question is not ready for the scrap yard, yet, and it will probably never be, as it has all the right “features” to become a collectable and, for the moment, it is still very fast. In fact it is so fast that it’s being driven by David Coulthard in this latest video, at Goodwood.
As you probably already know by now, the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series is taking its power from a large 6.2 liter V8 engine. The unit in question is producing a total output of 622 HP (464 kW) and it has a peak torque of 634 Nm (468 lb-ft). The engine is connected to a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT dual clutch transmission, sending power to the wheels. The 1,550 kg weighing supercar can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than 4 seconds and it has a top speed of 315 km/h (196 mph).
The Brits from Auto Express have recently tested out the newest compact car made by Nissan, the Pulsar.
