[VIDEO] See Jay Leno test the Volvo V60 Polestar on Top Gear’s track
One of the most famous petrol heads out there, Jay Leno, is the subject to a new video in which he can be seen driving the Volvo V60 Polestar on the Top Gear test track.
The clip posted below is quite different than what Jay Leno has gotten us used to, in its official YouTube channel, Jay Leno’s Garage, and it is actually showing the famous car collector drive the new Volvo V60 Polestar, pretty fast, on the Top Gear test track. The clip posted blow has a side story too, but we won’t be spoilers and tell you all about it. You can check out the video right after the jump.
The Volvo V60 Polestar has been unveiled about 6 months ago and this is coming with a Brembo braking system, with 20-inch ET4 3 alloy wheels, covered in 245/35 tires, with a Borg Warner twin scroll turbo, an intercooler and a full flow stainless steel exhaust system. The 3.0 liter inline six-cylinder unit is producing a total output of 350 HP (257 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. This is connected to an automatic transmission and the 0 to 100 km/h sprint takes 4.9 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h.
Like his father he was so fast, sometimes perhaps too fast. In pure natural speed and car control no driver could hold a candle to Alberto Ascari in the 1950’s.
